  Super Bowl 50 Panthers versus Broncos, Getting ready for the big party

  any others going to super bowl party in a few hours?who's your pick to win the big game?looks like they bringing more celebrities in for half-time show.i'm going to be pulling for the carolina panthers for two reasons: !

  ) i'm currently living in n.c. 2)would be nice to have a new team win it this year that's never won.i'm happy that at least the new england patriots aren't in this year's super bowl.

  they are a great talented team but have just had my fill of them being in so many over the years.anyhow i just hope this year is a great game and that the half-time show doesn't suck.go panthers!!!!!!!!

  If all the world were JWs....

  in my former indoctrinated state, i used to yearn for a time when all the world would be jws.

  but hang on minute, let's just think about what the world would be like if everyone was a jw,.

  first of all, no higher education, so no medical advances, no scientific research, no modern day medicine, infectious disease rife, no doctors, no engineers, so no modern day comforts.

  Kingdom songs all day and every day, happy people so happy it would drive you bat shit crazy.

  There would be meetings every day to replace the door to door work. And what other

  fun activities would be in store for the young, pin the tail on the lion. No good gossip going

  around and where will you go to take a break from all the fun, a bullet to the head maybe.

  I would take the Bible back just to see if Jesus contemporary agree on what was

  written about him. Oh yes, I know that guy he's a nut case, he told me he is the

  son of GOD. I remember when he was a young man he tried pulling a rabbit out of hat,

  he thought he was better then most. He use to date my daughter I put a stop to that

  when he told me one day He will raise the dead , turn water into wine and walk on water.

  He was a terrible student, he felt 3 grade was sufficient. That kid walked a different step .

  I would take back todays Bible, Koran , Mel Brooks movie about the Bible, tools and

  instruments to find old fossils... And last I would build a boat to see how animals we could house

  for a year, it would be open to the public.

  new boy: what would have happen if we (USA) and other countries didn't get involved in ww1 and ww2?

  If we had stood on the side line. We got involved in Viet Nam and the Korea conflict, maybe

  it was a mistake but at the time we thought we were in the right.

  And who in the hell is proud to kill, please..

  What do you do with tyrants today, wait on God? I would have been very proud to kill Hitler and

  his clan.

  What's your option, we have Religion and governments what do you suggest for your world????

  OK, "18 and 19 year kids as soldiers are stupid and will do just about anything they are told".We all agree

  Viet Nam was a controversial war, many didn't have any idea where Viet Nam was and why we were there,

  but we went. I had friends that went to Canada , father a child, became Muslims and a few friends

  received deferment because they maintained a certain number of credits in college.

  Two months ago I had my 50 year class reunion and My friend that fled to Canada, told me it was the

  worst mistake he ever made.

  Every vet I have met that served in Nam, even though many of those suffer from PTSD, problems

  from the Agent Orange not one regret their service.

  We must remember women were never drafted but they served and their were many in Nam.

  WE weren't stupid, we served our country and I'm proud of it.

  My impression from talking to men who were JW's in the Viet Nam era, wished

  they had served. It was like sitting by the camp fire and relating my experience in

  Nam , they would ask how was it did you shoot anyone, were you shot at and etc.

  One brother flat out lied, it wasn't until I told him I served and ask where was he station.

  He finally admitted he never served, it was a joke.

  The worst is not remembering your grand kids name. Josh, bring grandpa the Tv control.

  Grandpa I'm Terry not Josh. I have 8 Grand kids, and when they are all around at the same time

  it can be confusing.
